Mother’s Day
Family road trip
Plants got planted

This is us and our (sometimes)stressful & chaotic life.
Wouldn’t trade it for the word.

How would you respond? 😅

Just so you understand how pricing works in my children’s clothing store, here’s what it actually covers:

First, there are the physical materials: fabric, trims, labels, and all the components needed to make each piece.

Then comes the work behind the scenes: design, pattern development, and all the time it takes to create each item.

Each garment is made in small batches, which means higher production costs for skilled cutting, sewing, and manufacturing.

After that, there’s packaging, shipping, and order fulfillment.

On top of that, there are import tariffs and duties, along with standard business expenses like rent, equipment, and utilities.

I also pay fees, taxes, and payment processing charges, as well as payroll for two employees.

Marketing, product photos, and content creation are also part of keeping the business running.

And whatever is left after all of that… is what I earn.

Just a reminder: there’s a real person behind your favorite small business.
