To some, this may look like a little pile of forgotten things. But to me, it’s the beginning of something lovely.

Yesterday, my sweet son power-washed the house, and today I get to bring the porch back to life—one chair, one planter, and one well-loved treasure at a time.

This porch has always felt like a quiet little chapter in the story of our home—a place to rest, dream, find comfort and enjoy the beauty of an ordinary day. I can’t wait to see its next chapter unfold.

PS the deer munched down my hostas twice this year….Im not happy about that. First time in 12 years!
