I am sharing with you today the Hunt ISD Relief fund. If you find it in your heart to donate, the students, staff and community of Hunt will certainly appreciate it. Any dollar amount is worth it.
🚨Please share this link to reach as many people as possible. 🕊️
In addition, please read from my dearest highschool friend, Ashley Garza, who’s mom works as the Superintendent of Hunt:
“Hi friends,
As many of you know, my sweet mom is the superintendent of Hunt ISD. Over the last week, her community has been devastated by the floods in Kerr County. Homes were lost, lives were uprooted, families have lost loved ones, and the effects are still unfolding.
In response, she and the incredible Hunt PTA have set up the Hunt School Flood Relief Fund to support their students, teachers, staff, and families who have been directly impacted. With the possibility of school starting back in the coming months, they’re doing everything they can to help their community begin to rebuild before then.
While some aid has come through, much of it is being used for emergency response and search efforts, rightfully so. But once those efforts end, the families in this community will still be left picking up the pieces. This fund is meant to ease the burden of that next chapter, covering the essentials, helping people get back on their feet, and reminding them that they’re not alone.
If you feel moved to give, please consider supporting this special little school and the community my family holds so dear. Every dollar makes a difference💚
