I’m a wife, Christian and mom of two (plus our “fur baby”). I know how hectic life as a parent can be. I know how much grandparents cherish their grandbabies, trying to squeeze the most out of all those precious occasions together. Yet amidst everything, we strive to capture as much as we can through photos and recordings. Once those priceless moments are gone, all that remains are our memories, a
nd ways we’ve attempted to solidify those memories (such as pictures, videos, and keepsake items). That’s why when I was gifted a couple of “Baby’s First” holiday socks, I knew these would be perfect for celebrating our son’s first holidays. Yet when I looked for Christmas socks to continue this tradition, I couldn’t find ANY “Baby’s First” Christmas socks! I thought “Seriously?!? Out of any holiday surely there would be Christmas themed ‘Baby’s First’ socks”, but alas, even with his grandparents, uncles, aunts and dad in on the search, there were none to be found for my son. My family and I muddled through making socks the rest of my son’s first year with T-shirt transfer paper and paint, but I knew that I wanted something different for my next child. When I became pregnant with my daughter, I began to work on making high-quality, holiday socks to help her (and other babies) more easily dress up and celebrate those precious first holidays. I had so much fun dressing her up each holiday and taking pictures for her baby book. (Well, let’s be honest… for anyone who has tried taking pictures of babies, especially around the one year mark, it was fun getting the end result of the picture. The process itself sometimes involved lots of attempted shots and often multiple people to get my sassy sweetheart to sit still enough, but it was well worth the effort!) Now we have these cute photos to cherish the rest of our lives. My hope is that these “Baby’s First” products will likewise help your precious little (whether niece, nephew, grandchild or your own baby) celebrate their holiday firsts in festive style, making lasting treasured memories to cherish.
