🇰🇷✨ What REALLY happens during a K-beauty skin analysis in Seoul, South Korea? I went to find out and I loved the results! I’m 60, but my skin is apparently only 57! I’ll take those three years! 😂

On a friend’s recommendation, I visited SEOULSTIQUE, a highly rated skincare clinic with a calming blue atmosphere and welcoming staff.

After a quick questionnaire and face wash, a high-tech machine scanned my face in less than 30 seconds!

The incredibly detailed results analyzed pores, pigmentation, moisture, oiliness, texture, elasticity, sensitivity, wrinkles, and skin age.

Would you try everything on a food tour, or are you more of a look-before-you-bite kind of traveler? 😂👇

🇰🇷 Seoul Adventures, Part 1: Food, Fashion & Hidden Gems! Stay tuned for Part 2, when I discover what Korean skincare experts REALLY think about my skin! 😳✨

Seoul, my soul, you had me at the first bite! 🥢

Our morning was spent eating our way through a local Korean food market, wandering narrow pedestrian alleys, discovering hidden gems, and sampling dishes I couldn’t even begin to pronounce!

From savory street food and spicy Korean specialties to sweet treats, every stop was a new adventure for my taste buds. Some familiar, some completely unexpected, and that’s half the fun of traveling!

We finished our food adventure at a beautiful, traditional Korean teahouse tucked away from the busy streets. Such a peaceful little escape, filled with charm, warm hospitality, and a few new friends along the way.

And naturally, I had to be comfortably dressed for all that walking AND eating!

Have you ever heard of a Hanbok? 🇰🇷 Would YOU wear one? 👑That’s exactly what Mr L and I did on our first full day in Seoul, South Korea! 🏯We traded our everyday clothes for traditional Korean Hanbok and stepped back in time at the magnificent Gyeongbokgung Palace. From the gorgeous embroidered fabrics and elaborate hair accessories to the stunning palace gardens, it was an unforgettable cultural experience!

And the little Korean children dressed in their traditional Hanbok? Absolutely adorable! 💛

After our royal adventure, it was back into my comfy cabi Dreamy Pants and Just Right Turtleneck, paired with HOFF sneakers, to enjoy a delicious traditional Korean meal at Doore. The flavors, the presentation, the experience—Korean cuisine is definitely winning me over!

For me, traveling isn’t just about seeing new places. It’s about experiencing the culture, embracing the traditions, and occasionally dressing the part!

🇯🇵 From cabi to kimono…what a day of cultural discoveries in Tokyo! 🤫Want to know the secret on how to find the MOST amazing guides in Tokyo? Comment “GUIDE” and I’ll send it to you!

🍙🥢Following a traditional Japanese breakfast, I started my morning in cabi, but it wasn’t long before I traded my modern style for a traditional Japanese kimono! 👘With the help of my wonderful guide, I visited a cultural center, where I learned the art of Japanese calligraphy and how to write the sounds of my name in Japanese characters. Think “Shu-Shan” ~ Not as easy as it looks! ✒️

🏯Next, we explored Yanaka, a traditional old-town (sh*tamachi) neighborhood in Taito, Tokyo, famous for preserving its retro Showa-era atmosphere, narrow pedestrian alleys, and historic temples. It’s a quieter, more traditional side of Tokyo, known for its schools of art and music and a beautiful 25-acre cemetery steeped in history and tradition.

🪦One of the most fascinating discoveries was learning how Japanese families honor their ancestors. Small tea houses near the cemetery provide special brooms, water buckets, and fresh greenery for families to tend to their loved ones’ graves. The buckets even bear the family crests! After carefully sweeping and washing the gravestones and cleansing themselves, visitors can return to a peaceful space to enjoy tea and reflect.

And then there was the sweetest little surprise—a miniature garden featuring tiny cats fishing! 🐈🎣 Such a charming and whimsical detail tucked into this peaceful neighborhood.

🎎What I’m loving most about this trip to Tokyo is discovering the traditions, stories, and little details that make this country so special.

From fashion to family traditions, today was a beautiful reminder that style comes in many forms—and some of the most meaningful experiences happen when we step outside our everyday world.

🇯🇵 Are you more of a foodie, a treasure hunter, or a luxury shopper? Tokyo certainly feeds my appetite for adventure and shopping! 🥢🍣

Today was all about exploring three exciting parts of Tokyo!

1️⃣🦀First stop, Tsukiji Outer Market, where the sights, sounds, and incredible food made it impossible not to stop and sample a little of everything! Fresh seafood, Japanese delicacies, and bustling market stalls—a feast for the senses!

2️⃣🧑🏻‍🍳Next up, Kappabashi Kitchen Road, a food lover’s and home cook’s paradise! Beautiful Japanese ceramics, cookware, and kitchen treasures around every corner. I spent hours exploring the shops and picked up a few exciting finds to bring home. The challenge? Making sure they all fit in my carry-on! 🧳

3️⃣💎And then there was Ginza, Tokyo’s glamorous high-end shopping district, where the biggest names in luxury fashion line the streets. From stunning designer boutiques to fabulous window displays, it’s a fashion lover’s dream! And yes, I may have indulged in a little shopping at Cartier. After all, when in Tokyo! ✨

And my outfit for a full day of Tokyo exploring? Vintage cabi, of course! Proof that great style never goes out of fashion. I love rediscovering favorite pieces from past collections and taking them on new adventures!

From tasting my way through Tsukiji, to treasure hunting in Kappabashi and a little luxury in Ginza, Tokyo continues to delight!

🇯🇵 Konnichiwa, Tokyo! Let the adventure begin! ✈️
First night in Japan! From landing at Narita Airport to navigating the train system, discovering those famous Japanese vending machines and checking into our hotel at Tokyo Station—my adventure is officially underway!

First impressions? Everything is incredibly clean, organized, efficient, and just a little overwhelming! 😂 Love the little welcome treats from our hotel.

I had a quick shower in our cute bathroom and made a stylish change for dinner. My cabi Dreamy Pants, Crewneck Tee, and polka-dot Off Duty Jacket were the perfect comfort stylish dinner look with Sam Edelman flats. Presto! I was ready for our first night in Tokyo with the crew. So much yummy food and sake!

Feels like summer! Here’s a check list and tips if you are on-the-go this summer! Going to the grocery, to visit family, a wedding or girls trip? Make sure your on-the-go style checks these boxes:

✅Stretchy and comfortable
✅Easy to layer
✅Looks intentional

Quick Tips:
✅Save your leggings for the gym.
✅Try track pants instead of jeans.
✅Use a button down as a “jacket”. (It can be a great travel buddy to double as a blouse or swim suit coverup).

On-the-go style doesn’t have to be denim or gym wear. It can be polished, chic and a 10/10 in comfort. 💚
