At 828, we’re not focused on designing trendy spaces that will feel outdated in a few years. We’re passionate about creating homes that feel timeless, meaningful, and truly personal to the families living in them.

We love mixing old with new, layering meaningful pieces, antiques, and collected details to create spaces that feel warm, lived in, and full of character. Because at the end of the day, your home should feel deeply loved and uniquely yours!

Welcome to Part 5 of the Bonner’s Build ✨

Now that the foundation is set, we’re starting to look at how this Southern cottage will truly come to life from the outside in! From a welcoming front entry to classic porch details, every choice is helping shape the character of the home before you even step inside.

There’s something special about this stage, watching the vision come to life right in front of you as each piece of the project starts to take shape!

We wanted this space to feel warm, welcoming, and full of character from the moment you walk in. Think comfortable seating for gathering, rich wood paneling, rustic chandeliers, and layered antique touches that make the space feel collected and lived in ✨

We’re so excited to keep sharing the inspiration and vision behind each space!

This is one of our most special deliveries yet 🤎

These chairs belonged to our client’s grandmother, and getting to give them new life with this beautiful fabric made this project feel extra meaningful.

There’s something so special about caring for pieces that have already lived so much life and preparing them to be loved for many more years to come. We are simply the caretakers. The stories attached to them don’t end with us... they continue on through the homes and people who cherish them next.

We love that pieces like these get to continue telling a story for years to come. Restoring and reimagining furniture passed down through generations is such a special way to preserve memories, honor the people we love, and keep their presence woven into a home 🫶🏼

A space is never “just” a bathroom to us 🛁🪞

We had so much fun transforming this one and completely changing the feel of the space. From brighter finishes and warm gold hardware to new tile, cabinetry, lighting, upholstery, and a new tub, every detail came together to make it feel lighter and warmer.

A before & after like this will always be one of our favorite parts of what we do 🤎

Hospitality doesn’t have to be complicated or perfect to be meaningful 🤎

Sometimes it looks like inviting people over even when the house isn’t spotless, pulling out the “good dishes” on an ordinary night, or slowing down enough to have intentional conversations around the table.

So much of Jesus’ ministry happened through meals, conversations, and simply being present with people. We hope this encourages you to create space for connection and love others well in the everyday moments 🫶🏼
