This Southern cottage is really starting to take shape! With the framing complete, windows and doors installed, and fabric selections underway, we’re getting to watch so many of the details come together.

One of our favorite parts of the process is seeing how every decision, from exterior finishes to fabric pairings, helps tell the story of the home and brings the vision to life.

Welcome back to part 6 of Inside My Journal 💌

This week, I’ve been thinking about prayer... not just bringing requests to God, but what it looks like to keep showing up, stay focused, and come before Him with a thankful heart. In a world full of distractions, it’s easy to rush through prayer or only turn to it when we need something. But Scripture calls us to be persistent, watchful, and grateful.

No matter what season you’re in, prayer is an invitation to draw near to God. I hope this encourages you to keep coming back to Him, stay present in His presence, and remember what a gift it is that we get to talk with our Heavenly Father 🤍
