Envy Boutique Closing
To all of my loyal customers and employees, who have become like family to me over the past 13 1/2 years. I would like to personally thank you for supporting my dream of owning a boutique.I cherish every relationship I have made over the years!
In 1986, I attended VSU and worked here in this very mall at a junior clothing boutique called The Closet. After college and getting married, I spent the next 20 years in Orlando. Missing my family, we moved back to Valdosta to be closer. I then acted on my love for fashion and opened Envy Boutique and Envy Island Tan in 2008.
My little 650sq.ft boutique was an instant hit! Within in a year we expanded to a much larger space and that's how our journey began! The success of the boutique led my husband and I to open Dallas Wayne Boot Company, which has also been such a blessing!
We thought our life would remain in Valdosta, but God had a different plan. In 2019, both of our kids landed jobs in Texas. We could not bear being away from them, so we packed up and moved to Dallas.
I have tried to keep Envy open, even though it has proven difficult living so far away. The support we received through Covid, and still today, makes me want to keep things rolling.
This is a very difficult decision, but I feel will it will be worth it in the long run. I hope the community will continue to support local businesses like Envy Boutique and encourage their friends and family to shop local first!!
Over the years, I have had the pleasure to watch so many young women grow up through Envy, and they all are very special to me! Thank you to all of our patrons and previous/current employees for blessing my family and me. We are truly and forever grateful. Our two other businesses Dallas Wayne Boot Company Valdosta and Dallas Wayne Boot Company Thomasville will continue on and we hope you continue to visit them!!!
Our last day will be March 31, 2022. Please if you have gift cards come in and use them. The whole store is 50% OFF!
