Wearing my kirtle today so it gets the “new” off.

I can report it’s super comfortable. Yes, I could take the waist in some but I won’t -yet. I need to add a placket in the cf skirt opening with hooks and thread loops for closures so that I can wear this as a modern dress too.

Pardon the hair, but I can now confirm that this kirtle is comfortable enough to nap in!

I finished my Kirtle along with pockets large enough for wine bottles. Next up a new high neck chemise.

Started hand sewing just after 5:45 PM and finished at around 8:35 PM. 168 inches in just under three hours (200 minutes) I had to take small breaks to rest my hands.

My skirt trim is done!

Edited because math is not a strongpoint when it’s late.
