This month, the officer team of our local FFA chapter surprised me at their banquet with their Honorary Chapter Degree.

This was the sweetest surprise.

I genuinely LOVEEE giving my time and support to our local FFA chapter … and I give them a lot of it. 🤪 Having a front-row seat to the opportunities, growth, leadership, and confidence that FFA provides our local youth is a privilege, and watching these kids thrive is the greatest joy.

To be recognized by the members themselves, especially in a community filled with so many deserving and dedicated FFA supporters, is an honor I do not take lightly.

Swipe left for the sweetest speech, written and delivered by one of my kiddos’ longest friends, with the support of an officer team made up of some of their closest friends.

And of course, the story wouldn’t be complete without my kids, right? They were there to share in the moment and one had the honor of presenting me with the award.

When the banquet was over, I was greeted by so many smiling members eager to congratulate me. Their excitement made the honor even more meaningful.

FFA is truly special. If you don’t already, I encourage you all to see how you can support your local chapter.

Memorial Day weekend marks 1 year since we first opened the door to our sweet little boutique.

Take a peek here at a couple of the beautiful handmade, kids size quilts by Marlene Bles of that we currently have in stock.

We encourage you to open these quilts up in the shop and admire the incredible detail in every stitch. From horses and horseshoes to other western-inspired patterns, each quilt is a unique work of art — thoughtfully crafted and one of a kind, making each a special addition to your home.

Too early to be thinking about Christmas? Not if you’re a business owner. 🤪

Here are photos of our educational petting zoo, which was staffed by members of the Discovery Team from our local FFA chapter at Valley Ford’s first ever town wide Christmas event!

Did you hear?

Valley Ford has its very own princess! Kaelin was crowned in the 2026 District 2 Dairy Princess Competition along side her dear friend, Eva.

Both girls are local to FVF and we are SO PROUD! 🙌

Together they will represent the dairy industry across six counties, serving as ambassadors for the California dairy industry for one year.

Follow Kaelin and Eva on their 2026-2027 Dairy Princess journey in Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Solano, and Sonoma counties on Instagram — and .

There is no doubt that all of the girls who competed will have life long passion for the dairy industry. We can’t wait to hear of all the great things they do in agriculture in the years to come.

Shout out to our local coaches, mentors and FFA advisors. So much of what you do helps shape our youth and prepares them for opportunities such as this.
