Dirty rainbow with some black added for contrast. I have not been doing that much, because I have been focused on reading what is actually happening in the piece and I do not want to cover it up.

Four pieces from this week's drop. Backs are in the comments.

Light week, I got sucked down the rabbit hole of irrigation and I'm staying there for now. Primary base colors on standard 8-point airplane folds while I tune the process back in, with a bit more black in the last two for shadow.

The double-side mandala is one of the hardest things to saturate, and I did that one just to see if I could get through it.

This week's drop is up.

Back on irrigation and it took me a minute to get tuned back in. Classic folds, nothing fancy. Dirty rainbow again on the colors. I keep trying to walk away from them and I keep finding work left to do, so I'm sticking with it a few more.

Why does hot water make tie dye more vivid? New Episode!

Heat plus soda ash and the dye grabs the second it lands. No wandering, no splits, the color locks in pure right where it hit. Then the water keeps traveling without it. That's the wet lines running through, water still moving with nothing left to carry. Vivid where it landed, and the reveal shows the price.
