A New Beginning with Backwoods & Bay
To our fellow Hunters and Anglers,
We are a group of friends that just bought this company. We are currently creating our website: backwoodsandbay.com and getting everything set up. As we uncover things, we've learned we cannot use anything Rugged had in the past (website, this FB page, etc.) We've also learned a lot about you and we hope this message finds you well. We understand that you may have had a frustrating experience with Rugged Legacy and we want to take a moment to acknowledge and address it.
Who We Are
We are Backwoods & Bay the new owners of the old Rugged Legacy. We are a group of friends building a brand on the idea that life is meant to be lived outside the ordinary. Our values will be reflected in our brand: rugged, reliable, and rooted in the spirit of adventure. This brand isn’t just about clothing or equipment—it’s a way of life for those who dream of leaving the everything behind and returning to nature. It's for those who feel most alive when they’re out in the wild, fishing, hunting, and living their passion every day. While we are excited to take over and bring fresh energy, we are fully aware of the challenges and disappointments the previous company ownership left behind. We understand that trust was broken, and your experience may have left you feeling uncertain. We’re different, and here’s how:

4. Supply: There seemed to be some issues with the old company not getting orders out quickly. We will be implementing a Polling & Drop system initially to ensure no products go to waste. We will poll you for a few products ideas we are working on to see what you all like and want. We will then order the ones that win the poll and do a drop with adequate amount of supply based on our poll. This will ensure nothing gets oversold and we can get orders out quickly to you!
5. YOU : We believe in creating products that you all want, not what we think you will want. We will be involving you in every step of the process. Starting with this...
