I have been feeling the need to sew lately, finally got a small space set up to sew. Knocking out a few of my backlog projects ☺️ just in time to cover my hair in transition 😅

Just a reminder, my physical shop in Christiansburg va has been closed.

I am no longer accepting any alterations work, and will be doing custom sewing work online or through personal contact in the Central Florida area.

Happy Birthday Zelda Wynn Valdes!
Born on this day in 1905, Wynn Valdes became the first African American woman to own a boutique in New York. Her glamorous figure-hugging evening dresses became a staple for female entertainers such as Josephine Baker and Ella Fitzgerald. As co-founder of the National Association of Fashion and Accessory Designers, she served as a mentor to a number of early African American designers. Later in her career, she was hired by the Dance Theatre of Harlem, to design costumes, which she did until her retirement in the late 1980s.

Tomorrow is our last day officially open in our physical location! Its bittersweet for sure.

With that being said we have an industrial sewing machine and several displays available for sale! Please message me for more information!

It has been a struggle coming up with the words to say this, but we will be closing our physical location and not accepting any New work at this time.

I will be doing an online store and custom sewing work on the side only. I will not be taking in any alterations work with the exception of wedding, prom and homecoming dresses moving forward.

Once I am able to accept work and orders again I will let you know.

All work that has been dropped off is in the process of being completed, however, I've had some items dropped off and finished that I cannot get ahold of the owner. Please contact me if you have something waiting to be picked up to verify its complete and arrange a time for pickup.

Thank you for your continued support while I have attempted to make this a success, thank you for your patience and understanding as we make another transition.

The internet guy walks in this morning to do a serviceability check while we were working on incense and aroma beads and says "oh its a hippie store" I'll take that!! Lol
