Y’all…rant warning
Arguing with people about following up with me after messaging about an auction claim is EXHAUSTING. All I can do is keep repeating myself. I have sooo many repeat customers who can complete transactions in a timely manner and many new customs as well…if you have a reason that you can’t get to your payment app and you let me know I’m completely fine with that, things happen and we all get busy or pulled away from our phones and computers. What doesn’t sit well with me is the fact that I can SEE when a message has been read with zero courtesy of a reply.
It’s also just inconsiderate to spend 30 minutes discussing the finish details on a lead to then check out of the conversation as soon as i send a request for payment.
Every time I’ve asked the show lead marketplace moderator to reach out and remind folks I’m trying to reach them SHE and I both get nasty replies back and the same person who can’t find 3 minutes to pay is taking 30 minutes to exchange argumentative messages with both of us.
Messages sent to complete transactions are NOT personal attacks, this type of online business transaction has its challenges and we are all just trying to pay our bills.
I do not have a problem pulling a sale and offering it to the next bidder in line if a person fails to communicate and/or pay even if that means collecting less money for the item, my time is valuable as well.
