As a little girl, I remember watching my mother sitting at our family dining room table making beautiful hand-made crafts. I always admired her ability to take some paint, wood, fabric, glue and craft something that people would buy from her and wanted to display in their homes. There were even a few moments she allowed me to take a paint brush in my hand and help! It wasn’t long after becoming a

mother that I made the decision to step away from my high stress and long hours career to stay at home with my little girl. Being at home full time routines were quickly established and the creative side of me started to whisper softly in my ear that this just might be the perfect opportunity to honor the memory of my mother and her love for creating beauty through her art. I painted a sign for my little gal’s bedroom in June of 2016 just shortly after we moved into our new home and realized quickly just how much I loved creating something so special and unique that was just for her. William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and the love I have for my amazing mother and vivacious little girl, a Name so Sweet was created. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to create something ‘sweet’ just for you.
