I learned that one of my former employers has shut down - so I wanted to post this tribute to remember the place where I transitioned from the videogame industry to VFX work in motion pictures and television. It was a grueling work environment but I was eager to absorb the magic even with the harsh reality of the work. I lasted all of 4 years of long hours and rushed high pressure production schedules to be followed by wrapping up and the uncertainty of any forthcoming work at all. The talent and expertise of those working at Tippett, including its founder(s), were unique and awe inspiring. The work that came out of this place was always world class and second to none.
