Day 22 of Me Made May and I'm already repeating with my because the temperature dropped suddenly just in time for Memorial weekend, womp, womp, womp. I took this at the studio after classes using the shutter timer on my phone. A little fail to begin, but got a reasonable one after!

Day 14 of and today I'm wearing my tunic from The Tunic Bible by and . This now fits a bit loose and feels overly long, so not sure if it will stay in regular rotation. I do love the fabrics in this - a Japanese ikat and navy linen. I was on site at one of our design clients - isn't this powder room amazing?

Day ? of and I'm wearing my favorite (and also a pair of Claryiville Jeans not pictured). This is made using a lovely lawn from and one of the four shirts I made to compare popover style shirts many years ago.

Day 6 of and I asked my boss to snap this while we were out and about doing on this rainy Wednesday. I wear this every chance I get. It's the perfect weight for the shoulder seasons, and replaces a cardigan, blazer, or light coat equally well.

Day 5 of and today is an oldie but a goodie - the Mila shirt. I made this as part of a head-to-head comparison of popover shirts comparing four different shirts. I ranked this one #2, but I do find myself reaching for it a lot, maybe the fabric/colors work in my everyday style best?

Day 3 of is a make do and mend moment. I had requested a patch kit from .patch for Christmas, and Dave had a large hole on the crotch of his jeans. Don't look too closely, as this was my first attempt and working on bulky seams wasn't the most straightforward. Still better than a giant hole, and these are his "cabin pants".

Wilson and I playing catch-up from Day 2 of ! We were heading out for his evening walk and nabbed these before it got too dark, and then I got busy after. This is Caroline Raglan Tee & Tunic in a lovely floral French terry.

Day 1 of , and if you've seen my posts from previous years, you know I'm a no-frills photo taker, or it just won't happen.
It's still cool here in NJ, so I layered my over a sweater hoodie to stay cozy. I reach for this jacket a lot during transition seasons.

This art project for Arden's bedroom at the cabin has been a ssslllooowww process. Sometime last spring I painted the canvas navy blue. She then lived with that "abstract" piece of art in her room for nearly a year before I started the weaving process. I did all the warp threads in navy cotton yarn, and then together we wove the mountain shapes in shades of ecru and tan. What do you think?

I finished the top for my embroidery flowers quilt! On to the back - should I get some wide back from or piece it as offered in the tutorial? I'm leaning towards piecing, but I also want to see it finished sooner ..
