Well that's an official wrap for Jenna today at The Dog Nanny Boutique! We had to paint over the mural to get ready for the new renters (To***co Anna/Smoke Shop) to come in and it was definitely emotional. Thanks so much to Sam and Luke Sayre the extremely talented local Victoria artists that made my entire vision come to life. If you're ever in need of art done for your business or an event, they're your guys (pm me for their contact info). To all our customers, friends, Jenna's kids that would come to the back door over summer break just to say Hi, and everyone who stopped by randomly with their pups to snap a picture.... We appreciate all of it and will never forget all those fun memories with this fun piece of art.

If you're a country fan then you will get my Joe Diffie analogy but it almost made me hope it would still show through a bit after we painted over it. Kind of like John Deer Green on the water tower🤣

Anyways long live this beautiful mural and all the fun memories! I miss you all and hope to see you and the dogs around town this spring!

Today was pretty special! Prior to opening The Dog Nanny Boutique I walked dogs for many years and Buster was one of my every day walks in Orono. I remember back in 2023 on our last walk feeling so sad because I knew he and all the other dogs would feel like I abandoned them and I hated that feeling!!! Well today Buster and I were reunited and it was a feeling of happiness I haven't had in a long time. Today reminded me why I love what I do. I’ve closed the boutique for now, but I’m hearing from many longtime Lake Minnetonka clients who want me back. I’m saying yes—with a few thoughtful updates to serve every pup better.

What I’m offering now:

Monday–Friday walking commitment: a steady routine that fits your dog’s needs. Not one day or two days a week (it has to be 5 days a week).

Customized scheduling: I’ll weave your pup into a safe, efficient route that maximizes exercise and enjoyment.

Ideal matches: high-energy, typically unruly sporting breeds, and dogs who benefit from daily, purposeful activity.

Consistent, intentional exercise reduces restlessness and improves obedience.

A planned route ensures safer, smoother daily walks.

Tomorrow these two don't have school due to the extreme cold... So that also means no work for Mom. We will be home baking treats, doing laundry, watching movies and excited to see you come visit The Dog Nanny Boutique on Saturday when it's equally as cold. See ya'll soon!

Its the first Monday of Christmas break for Brooks! I've been busy working the store this holiday season so things like this always make my day!

All of a sudden I hear the back door open and look to see it's Brooks! I said hey honey whatcha doing? He goes I just thought I'd take my scooter for a ride and I just really wanted to see you. Heart melted! Needed this today!
