I don’t care what “side” you’re on or whether you believe she is guilty or innocent. This post isn’t about debating a case.
As a woman, a mother, and a mental health professional, I think there is something we should all be able to agree on: women’s mental health care, including prenatal and postpartum mental health care, needs serious improvement. 🩷
Women deserve to be heard. Mothers deserve access to care. And asking for help shouldn’t be met with months-long waitlists, unaffordable costs, or the feeling that they have nowhere to turn.
So today, Rae’s Riviera is putting action behind that belief. 🫶🏼
Throughout the day, we’ll be posting a series of special items in our VIP group, and a portion of the profits will be donated to help postpartum women right here in our community access mental health care.
First up will be a PREORDER for three mental-health-related hats! 🧢🩷
And this one gives back TWICE! The vendor creating the hats will also be donating a portion of her profits to Vibrant Emotional Health. I’ll share more information about the organization and her donation in the comments.
You don’t have to agree on everything to agree that women and mothers deserve better access to mental health care. 🩷
