New take on Red Work ๐Ÿ™‚ or at least red stitching on EVERYTHING!
I finally got some new fall clothing up on the website; I can with certainty say I am not website inclined......๐Ÿ˜ฌ 10 hours later, a cocktail and several hugs from my 6 year old son, who also helpfully sang me some Daniel Tiger songs to handle frustration โค๏ธ........It's up!.......
This shirt is cotton/ linen with red details. It's available in XS, S, M, L and XL. Check it out on the website Ethyria.com ... link above as well ๐Ÿ™‚

Yesterday I spent the day re-upholstering my old, sad looking display form. I like it so much better now even though it ended up with a certain "Nightmare before Christmas" quality.

Some more Susie sweater ๐Ÿ™‚ it's therapeutic to mend something for the exploration rather then impatiently fixing it so it stops lying around in a pile. Thanks for not giving me a finish date ๐Ÿงก

It's another hot day here by the river so I thought I would share some of what I am working on for fall ๐Ÿ™‚.
This jacket is made from old suit pants. I clean them, cut them apart and piece together the jacket, coat, skirt, pant...... or what ever I'm making. I love when there are holes, which I patch. I stich where I think stitching is needed. It is not a fast process..... ๐Ÿคฃ.... end result is SlowMade, ReMade, One-Of-A-Kind Magic..... if you're in to that sort of thing....โค๏ธ
Practical details...... this jacket is a size small. It will be available September 3rd on Ethyria.com (link will be in the bio). Other sizes and styles will be available, but everything will be different.

The small scale inspiration for a black and red Kajsa dress. It's scrap black camo seersucker with red detailing involving.... again.... some french knots.....the final dress won't be so covered in hand stitching, It will have pieces of red fabric pieced in. I'm sure I'll make several versions because the truth is I don't love making the exact same garment twise.

I really wish this was my size........๐Ÿ™‚ but no...... It only fits the doll..... still not ready......

When we lived in Southern California I wore this dress seldomly, but here in Oregon it seems so much more in tune with all the moss on the trees and the mystical, misty feel off the McKenzie River. Even though today looks like sun all day, two days ago the mist was all around and I wore it. If you swipe through, there is a picture of what the whole dresses looks like.

A summer skirt made from dress shirts scraps. I made it for myself because I needed a summer skirt when I was pregnant. ๐Ÿ™‚ It's assorted scraps that were over-dyed so they looked less like I randomly ransacked someone's closet and more like cohesive whole. During my pregnancy I was making "bubble" dresses with recycled mens shirts for selling to different boutiques; and made this with the pieces that were left over in the end. (I'll see if I can find pictures of the bubble dress, Elin.)

Thoughts for next spring (I know it seems like so far from now.) As you can see my process is not snazzy or glossy.๐Ÿ™‚ Just scratches so I can remember what I was thinking. It takes a long time for me to develop ideas and samples, fit them, change them, and finally make some available on the website ๐Ÿ™‚... They will probably look nothing like these originally thoughts.
