I haven’t been doing a ton of sewing lately…just a few random projects here and there, but when I found this pattern on Etsy, I had to try it. This has taken a little over a week to complete, but I was determined to be able to use it this year (only 3 days into advent!) Cutting out EACH individual felt shape and hand sewing these ornaments was tedious, but I’m so excited with the end result! Even though the kids may be a bit old for the idea behind this, I know they’ll still enjoy adding an ornament to the tree each day. I love Christmas sewing! 🎄

First bag in months and it’s for me!! Planning to use this on vacation…it will be perfect for parks and the zoo!

Just finished a couple of very special projects in memory of a lovely woman who always wore blue chambray shirts. I was commissioned to make two teddy bears and a quilt out of her old shirts
and beautiful blue and white floral duvet cover she owned. I didn’t know this woman well, but I thought a lot about her and what these items will mean to her loved ones for years to come while I was making them.

Quilt # 3 of 2021. By far the most involved pattern and the most detailed piecing I’ve ever done. When I found this pattern, I fell in love with the design, but was hesitant about actually being able to do it any justice. I’m so excited with how it came out! There are definitely mistakes (notice the upside down buoys that ended up looking like little houses 😉), but overall, I’m happy! 🧵
