Did you know Betty Crocker doesn't exist?...
It was originally made up by the Washburn Company as a relatable character for people to learn recipes...
The name was a combination of a friendly first name of Betty, with the last name Crocker, which was the last name of a retired employee from the company...
They commissioned artists to draw this character & used it as a face to create trust in the brand...
In light of AI technology advancing quicker & quicker...
I can't help but think they've been priming us our entire lives to give our self sovereignty, our self love, our self respect, to something outside ourselves...
