We’re thrilled to be part of Block Party this summer in City Heights, in partnership with and ! ☀️

Come see us on July 11 from 12–5PM at Teralta Park for a full day of community, creativity, and culture! Explore dozens of local artists and vendors, grab a bite from a variety of food trucks, enjoy live music from talented local musicians, catch performances by amazing creatives, and get hands-on with art activities. There’s a fun zone for the kids, plus plenty of entertainment for the whole family!

Mi Gente CA’s Block Party series was designed as an intentional space for underrepresented artists to share their talents, while creating a place for everyone to come together and celebrate creativity and community. We can’t wait to share our work and connect with all of you!

Bring a blanket or some chairs, soak up the sunshine, and stop by to see what we’ve got and support local creatives.

The event is family-friendly and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $5–10 to help sustain inclusive programming for Black and Brown creatives. You can donate at migenteca.org or through the link in ’s bio.

My strawberry dragons found their new homes at the Strawberry Festival last weekend.

As a maker, there’s always a tiny part of me that’s sad to see them go. I spend so many hours with each one that they start to feel like little friends.

But knowing someone loved them enough to bring them home makes it all worth it. 🥰
