Prairie Point Quilting and Design owner, Peggy Tanler, started quilting in 1984. Her first quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted. She has pieced numerous types of quilts with her current favorite being modern quilting. Peggy has won several awards including firs

t place at the Minnesota Quilters Show, Exemplary Machine Quilting-Digitized at the Arizona Quilters Guild Show, and again at the Minnesota Quilters Show 2014 in St Cloud. She has had an extensive and successful career in interior design, showcasing her skill for color and design selection. Peggy utilizes this experience in her complimentary consultations to help you achieve your quilting vision. Peggy lives in Waconia with her husband, Rick, and dog, Chloe. She’s a busy grandma with three adult and seven grandchildren. Prairie Point Quilting began because Peggy has a passion for quilting and design and sharing her vision with others. She looks forward to each project and enjoys working with her clients to achieve the best possible result in a cost effective manner.
