Mother’s Day is where this whole journey started for me. I wanted to find a high quality, comfortable outfit that matched with my baby, AND fit my postpartum body. The search took way too long and out of that experience, Jhula was born.

It blows my mind that 7 years have passed. The growth has been slow but steady - I’m so grateful for all of you that have supported this vision. I’m honored to have made products that are loved by so many moms.

She will never know she needs this until one day, she has to help on a school project, she doesn’t have time to go get one on her own and Amazon won’t deliver fast enough. You will have saved the day!

Along with building this brand I’m also a troop leader and mom of 3 - I’ve used this paper cutter my father in law randomly gifted me on so many occasions and it’s saved me tons of time.

“Build in public” - every podcast or founder story of a success story usually starts with that. I’m 100% extrovert to the max, but something about showing up regularly on social feels so awkward to me. The thing is - I know for Jhula to continue to grow and reach more moms and families - it’s something I’m going to have to do.

My days currently are spent breastfeeding, cuddling, being the backbone for my household and family as well as trying to take care of myself. In days and moments where working on this business feels like something I’m just squeezing in has me questioning over and over again if it’s worth it to keep going.

I started this brand when my oldest was less than a year, I’ve never felt like I’ve had the time to really give it my all. I have to remind myself that I should be proud to even get to this point with all the other responsibilities that I have.

Making a public pledge today so I stay true to it - I’m going to do 30 days of showing up. Posting something at least every day and sharing a glimpse into the life of what it takes to try to grow something while also taking care of 3 littles.
