This is a lovely vintage pen and ink framed drawing of Old Town Square, Prague, Czechoslovakia, now known as Czech Republic. Old Town Square was founded in the 12th century. The drawing depicts the astronomical clock (Orloj) mounted on the Old Town Hall. Prague Cathedral is seen in the background. I acquired this French copper bed warmer reproduction from someone who previously purchased it at an antique shop. It measures 25" l x 9 3/4" w x 2" deep and has a floral design. This adorable vintage French Charlotte pot (or mold) with heart handles is traditionally used for making molded gelatin and ice cream desserts. The pot is made in France of tinned steel. This rare vintage Tokay patterned demitasse pot by Richard Ginori was an unexpected find when I purchased it as a part of a serving set solely for the use of making favors for my daughter's wedding shower. To think I broke up the set to make beeswax poured candles from the cups and saucers (which were sweet as could be) before researching makes me wince!! The pattern of blue and lavender with gray stems is most likely grapes with a vine, in my opinion, as the name Tokay is a kind of naturally sweet wine from the area of Tokaj, Hungary. Grapes or sprigs of flowers, this gorgeous vessel, made in Italy, is clean and contemporary with no chips or crazing. Please see Blush Hill Vintage for purchase.
