What sewing advice do you disagree with? 🧵✂️

Every quilter has that one piece of advice that makes them raise an eyebrow. 😆

Maybe it’s:
👉 Save every scrap.
👉 Just use what’s in your stash.
👉 It’s only a quarter-inch seam.
👉 Quilt math will work itself out.

There are no quilting police, and what works for one quilter may not work for another. That’s part of what makes quilting so much fun, we all develop our own habits, shortcuts, and strong opinions along the way.

Be honest… this is a safe space. 😉

⬜ Buying fabric for a project you haven’t started yet
⬜ Starting a new project before finishing the last five
⬜ Saving scraps because “I might need that someday”
⬜ Measuring twice, cutting once… and still cutting it wrong
⬜ Calling your fabric stash a “collection” instead of a problem
⬜ Staying up until 2 a.m. because you just need to finish one more block

Mine? I walk into the shop to put something away and somehow leave with fabric. Every. Single. Time. 😂
