Oh, the fabulousness of Melissa Manchester!

We originally created this as an opera coat with a big train and a big collar for Melissa’s tribute to Barry Manilow at Carnegie Hall.

Then we all decided that it’ll never be worn again so we might as well revamp it into a lovely duster coat as Melissa’s new tour opens up in October in Chicago.

You’ll be seeing this great little Number and a few more fabulous pieces as Melissa tours the Midwest.

I have the greatest job in the world. Being a fashion designer all of these years has opened me up to so many wonderful people. For example, Maya Greenbaum Goykadosh and I got to collaborate on her wedding gown. Maya purchased a beautiful strapless dress for her wedding day! She brought the gown to me to recreate her look to be modest, but modern. We refitted the dress, rebuilt the bodice, added a billion appliqués, hemmed, snatched her tiny waist, and bustled this beauty.

It all worked! Maya had a beautiful wedding day. She just sent me the most glorious message of thanks. I couldn’t be more proud! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I adore working with the Orthodox community! .
