Almost 8 years to the day since my last post! Some of you may remember when my girls were very young and I had this wonderful strong hair bow business. You are the mommas who bought from me and we went on to be friends to this day.

Well, those little are now bigs and I’m the president of the performing arts booster in my daughters’ district. So when the little who are now bigs asked me for cheer bows for kickline, I couldn’t say no. I’m not getting back into the bow business but I know the girls will love these!

To my Dearest Moxie and Pixie Mommas,

As I'm sure you've seen, I haven't been making and posting much for a while now. It's taken a while but I've made my peace with the decision to not go forth with the bow making at this time. I've been doing this for 6 great years!

When my mother got sick, and passed away, I really stepped back from all that I put into Moxie & Pixie, as I need to. Then, I realized I need to focus focus more on my health and fitness. I've made great gains that I am so proud of.

I've LOVED doing Moxie and Pixie, it has been a creative outlet, a source of income (especially during my maternity leave), and has allowed me to meet so many wonderful Moms and their families, who I can truly call friends! You know you never were my customers and were always my Mommas (or "bow friends" as my girls called you when they were toddlers). Thank you. I couldn't have asked for a better, more supportive and enthusiastic group of ladies to have been my Mommas. It has meant a lot to me and I won't ever forget this. (geez, I need a tissue!)

While I will keep this page long after the bows are all sold and the materials destashed (but not all gone...you don't think I could put away the glue gun entirely?!?!), I will need it now to have a Clearance Bownanza. Price will be low as I want the bows to go! (and who knows what I will dream up in the future! Maybe Moxie & Pixie will evolve one day, just as my girls, my Moxie and my Pixie grow).

So what do you think...8/28 or over Labor Day weekend? Anyone want some cheap bows? And...anyone want some crafty supplies???
