In October of 1987 just as Gypsy Rose was being launched - Jerry performed 18 shows on Broadway and our 21 yr old selves had tickets. We took the train into NYC and made a day of it. There may have been some day drinkiling going on into the evening.😁 We started the day at the South St Seaport enjoying the Halloween festivities and then made our way to the Hard Rock for dinner and rum punches. And off to Lunt-Fontanne Theatre for Jerry Garcia . We were lucky enough to be greeted and seated by Bill Graham (wish I had a picture) . We had awesome seats and I had enough alcohol in me to go up front and start taking some pics - then one of the band members pointed to let me know I had my lens cap on 😆I did get these and some other blurry shots after I took it off 😂 So these pics have never been shared publicly before - been sitting in a box for almost 40 yrs. Hope all the Jerry fans enjoy seeing something new - I have also enclosed some pics from our adventures that day with John, my friend Wendy and me in my beret hehehe. Enjoy !! ☮️❤️🌹Kaye

Hey Now - so many of you ask where our name comes from...well you may not know Gypsy Roses early days started in an old pig barn ( bottom right white roof) . John's parents had a working farm nestled inside Tyler State Park in beautiful Bucks county. Pictured below is Johns favorite farm dog Gypsy ( our namesake) and I have a rose tattoo. We pulled out the dictionary and found that Gypsy Rose is a rose of deep red color- thus our logo has been intertwined with roses for years. Back then there was a female goat who just loved John and would visit daily to try to eat the incense sticks we were packaging. And on snowy days when UPS couldn't get down the driveway - John would tie a toboggan to an ATV and haul all the packages to the road so your goodies would get there on time!! What a Long Strange Trip it's Been!

Gypsy Rose congratulates and thanks Widespread Panic for 40 yrs of great music and keeping the vibe alive. On a personal note I'd like to thank the band for helping to fulfill a life long dream I had of traveling to Red Rocks to see some beautiful music. For three nights in June of 2023 that dream was fulfilled and did not disappoint!! Awesome music - Great companions and the dispensaries weren't bad either 😁☮️❤️🌹 Kaye

Hey now everyone - as Gypsy Rose slides into its 40th year thought it might be fun to share some of my original tour swag. Fun fact - some of our designs have been inspired by clothes I made / wore back in those days. This is my denim jacket from back then (45+yr old) . I jumped on the bus Nov 5th, 1979 - Spectrum. I was lucky enough to see Hundreds of shows along the east coast and even luckier that the peeps I toured with are still some of my closest friends - the stories we can tell.😁 Some of the most iconic shows are Garcia on Broadway , the last show at JFK, 10-15-83 Hartford, and seeing Bob 8-25-95 at the Tower - he had us in tears that night and so many more. Tell me when you got on the bus ....☮️❤️🌹 Kaye

We light a candle for all lives lost, the survivors, volunteers, all affected, and peace for the world. We extend our love and thoughtful prayers of healing and continuing the message of peace. On our page, Kaye - one of our co-founders - shares what it was like at GR and the east coast on that terrifying day.

Today we honor and remember the lives lost as well as the hero’s who performed unimaginable acts of service. Please take a few moments of silence today to honor those lost and those whom served
