Tonight we walked into our store after its last open day and saw a blank canvas. Our entire store sold out in 5 days… and we are blown away. Within the past month we have been through so many things and so many emotions more than just this small bit that we’ve put online. Our hearts are so full with the love, the kindness, the support. There aren’t even words to put into a short paragraph right now that encompass it all.
We made a really scary decision from the start to put our hearts into our businesses wide open. Purpose over profit. Giving even when our cups were empty. To show up as our authentic selves and to ask people how are they really doing .. meaning it. Even through the risk, the stress, the ups and downs, we have nothing to look back on but gratitude. This entire chapter was so worth all that we gave even if it didn’t go as planned. Tonight we sat at our 15 foot table to remember all that we’ve somehow accomplished during the most impossible & transitional times of our lives. We walked across the street and saw a river otter for the first time, and saw the sun set a whole different way on Pa Ave.
The moon is incredible out right now.. go look. This life is yours to give your best shot at. Joy is everywhere even in difficult times. Trials are sometimes the greatest gifts. Stay true to who you are, it counts. Thank you for showing up for us.. thank you for asking us how WE were doing and meaning it. It means the world. Our customers have been like our family in the most sincere way, you will always have a friend in us.
