Remember when Christmas felt this magical?
When you were little enough to believe a gingerbread house might actually be real and every corner of Christmas held a little bit of wonder?
The Gingerbread Trail was created for that stage of childhood.
This kids-only experience is made for exploring, imagining and PLAYING—not standing still and saying cheese.

They'll follow the cookie trail, discover the gingerbread cottage, peek through the windows and maybe even knock to see who's home.
Because someday they'll stop wondering who lives inside the gingerbread house...But you'll always have the pictures from when they did.

Could not have asked for a more perfect day with Mady for her senior session. She immediately made this reel with behind the scene snippets her mom took. Love when seniors get just as excited as I do for their session and love the confidence they feel once we get started. Mady was a dream to work with. I can’t wait to edit and deliver this stunning gallery!

Yesterday was the first day of fall…so naturally, I’m talking about CHRISTMAS.
Holiday promo photos are officially underway and I am LOVING how Baking Spirits Bright is coming together!
⚠️ WARNING: Random flour fights may break out during your session.
And honestly? I’m here for it. 😂
Perfectly posed Christmas photos are cute…but flour-covered noses, belly laughs and kids getting permission to make a little mess? THOSE are the moments I want to capture. ❤️

That “It’s Labor Day weekend” feeling
So much more coming from this amazing session. I think it’s safe to say that beach sessions may now be my favorite type of sessions.

Some kids are packing backpacks... others are packing memories.
Next week marks the beginning of another school year, but for seniors, it's so much more than that. It's the beginning of a year full of "lasts."
Before the chaos of college applications, senior nights, graduation parties, and saying goodbye to friends, take a moment to celebrate who they are right now.
This senior is an avid reader, so we started her session exactly where she'd choose to spend an afternoon—with a good book at a local bookstore. Then we explored downtown Wheaton, capturing a completely different side of her personality.
That's what senior sessions should be. Not just beautiful photos...but a time capsule of who you were before life changed forever.
Wishing all of my students, teachers friends, and families an amazing school year next week. .
Here's to new beginnings...and unforgettable endings.

IT'S TIME!
School is almost back in session, which means cooler evenings, cozy sweaters, and those gorgeous fall leaves will be here before we know it.
Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons to photograph because everything seems to slow down just enough to soak in the little moments.
