I NEVER DID TAXES BEFORE… 1½ DAYS LATER I REBUILT YEARS OF MY FINANCIAL LIFE 🤯📂💰
I ain’t never sat down and did taxes in my life.
But in about a day and a half, I went through YEARS of my financial history and started putting this whole thing back together myself.
We went through old SunTrust records, Truist accounts and statements, PayPal, Cash App, emails, receipts, transactions, business records, old payments — everything I could get my hands on.
We searched through years of emails looking for financial records I hadn’t seen in forever.
We called Truist to track down old statements.
We went back through accounts that changed banks, closed accounts, payment apps, deposits, expenses and transfers trying to figure out exactly what happened year by year.
And now I’m waiting on the last pieces — including records/transcripts from the IRS and a couple other financial records — so everything can be compared, reconciled and verified before I call it completely finished.
That’s the part people don’t see.
It ain’t just filling numbers into a tax form.
It’s reconstructing your financial life.
And something I thought could take me WEEKS — and probably cost me a lot of money paying somebody else to sort through — I knocked the majority of it out in about a day and a half.
I used AI to move faster, but I didn’t just tell AI, “Do my taxes.”
I had to find the records.
I had to make the calls.
I had to answer the questions.
I had to understand what the numbers meant.
I had to verify what belonged where.
And somewhere in the middle of all that, I realized something:
I’m not just cleaning up taxes.
I’m building the financial foundation behind my business.
Taxes. Records. Banking. Credit. Financing. Contract Capacity.
The brand can’t just LOOK ready.
The back end has to match the brand.
