Ran a production test sewout using DST files provided by my boss to verify stitch quality and consistency on my personal machine. The goal was to confirm reliable results so my machine can be used when production needs backup. Clean stitchout, solid digitizing, and dependable results.

I just finished this custom monogram on a crochet blanket. A customer from my job came in asking if we could embroider this, and it’s not something my job really focuses on. Crochet blankets are challenging because the fabric is open-loop, uneven, and constantly shifting, so there’s no solid surface for stitches to lock into like a normal knit or fleece.

I told her upfront this wasn’t a standard job and that results could be unpredictable. Between the mesh stabilizer, stitch density, underlay, and feed adjustments, everything had to be carefully balanced just to keep the design from sinking, warping, or breaking through the loops.
