Throwback to when I took scissors to my beloved Capitol sweatshirt and an old polo button-down to create one of my favorite dresses! Most of my creations are made from upcycled materials, but this one was especially meaningful. Giving two well-loved pieces a new life, and turning them into something I’ll wear for years, made this project extra special. ❤️🇺🇸🧵

These two beautiful memory quilts are heading to their new homes today! 💙

One was created for a recent Bayport-Blue Point graduate, and the other for a Center Moriches graduate. Each quilt is stitched together with years of memories and milestones, creating a keepsake to be treasured for years to come.
