We recently had the opportunity to provide a Pediatric First Aid, CPR, Choking & AED Certification Training for an entire childcare team.

For childcare professionals, maintaining current lifesaving certifications is an important part of creating a safer environment for every child in their care.

But bringing the whole team together for training provides something even more valuable.

It gives staff the opportunity to practice together, communicate through emergency scenarios, ask questions, and build confidence as a team.

A mother woke to find her 17 day old baby unresponsive and not breathing. Instead of waiting helplessly for emergency responders to arrive, she began CPR.

Her story is a powerful reminder of why we teach these skills at Nested.

We had a FULL HOUSE at Edlavitch DCJCC for our Newborn Care + Infant CPR & Choking Boot Camp, and we’re so grateful to every expecting parent who trusted Nested to be part of their journey.

This class is about more than just learning information. Parents get to practice the skills they’ll actually use when baby comes home.
