These hoodies remind me of the military and college hoodies from the 40s, they dropped again in the 80s. The quality is crazy, heavy weight weave, barely shrink and super warm. New tee! The club tees comes from a perception of what others thought of the different parts of DC by residents in the other parts of the city, Uptown folks were always thought to be living the finer life by everybody else in the city (we weren’t, unless you lived along Rock Creek, Chevy Chase or Gtown), Anacostia was thought to be where you needed to be ready in case anything popped off (they were right), Southwest was where folks kept their boats and ate at Hogates and Zanzibar and H Street was where people loitered all day and night, heads back in the day and now the brunch set. Available this weekend at the pop up, it’ll be available online on Monday. @ The Wharf
