Justice for Nolan.
To every Black parent reading this:
There is a fear that lives in our community that never seems to leave. We teach our children to be careful, to watch their surroundings, to call if plans change, to look out for the people they’re with. We tell them that the company they keep matters.
Nolan should have made it home.
Today, a family is grieving a son whose future was stolen. They deserve more than condolences. They deserve answers.
Too many questions remain. How does a young man disappear while surrounded by people, yet no one can clearly explain what happened? How does someone vanish, and those who were with him have so little to say? Until those questions are answered with evidence, the silence will continue to weigh heavily.
This isn’t about rushing to conclusions. It’s about demanding transparency, accountability, and a thorough investigation that leaves no question unanswered.
Black parents should never have to wonder whether their child will receive the same urgency, attention, or justice as anyone else’s.
We mourn with Nolan’s family. We stand with them in their search for truth. And we refuse to let his name become another headline that fades before the full story is told.
Justice for Nolan. Truth for his family. Accountability wherever the facts lead.
