On 02/02/23 join , and , as we present the Washington D.C. movie premiere for "After Migration: Calabria", followed by a discussion with Walé Oyéjidé, producer and co-director of the film and creative director of . His work appears in the films "Black Panther" (2018) and "Coming 2 America" (2020).

"After Migration: Calabria" (2020) tells the story of a boy who left his home in The Gambia at the age of 15, and a Nigerian single-mother who birthed her child in a detention camp, as they transcend their difficult histories while integrating into a quiet region of southern Italy. Combining culturally representative fashion design with story-telling, the "After Migration" project celebrates the lives of refugees in ways that dispel tropes which cast them as unfortunates.

The vases are made only with the best grade PLA (thermoplastic derived from renewable resources, compostable in industrial facilities).
