Tulle. Do I love it? No. Do I work with it? Yes. And I make sure each layer is perfect. This gown has 9 layers of tulle with 4 different circumference groups. I have to work in steps. And the bustle that goes in this gown will have 3 different bustle layers. 🫣 The most time that goes into gowns, isn't always Sewing time, it's prep, strategy and second measuring.

Brittany had one of the heaviest gowns from that I've worked on. The tulle, beading and lots of skirt!!

Here's what we did:
✂️ Tightened the beaded bodice
✂️ Shortened the sleeve
✂️ Pocket hem with Horsehair
✂️ Beautiful Ballroom Bustle

This was a perfect fit when we were finished. Not only did she have the perfect gown, she picked the most fabulous wedding date- My own wedding date and Birthday! 🥰

Lauren's gown was a bit too big for her as an off the rack purchase. To get her perfect fit, we had to:
✂️- Tighten the full bodice down in through the hips
✂️- Shape under bust with more support
✂️- Custom tulle draped sleeve
✂️- Hem lace
✂️- Add Traditional Bustle

She felt the vision come to life and was ready for her wedding day!!

For Isabelle's gown we just needed some tightening all around. But not the same amount for each seam line from bodice to skirt. Keeping the angle of a low back and seam placement was very important.

✂️Tightened Straps
✂️ Tightened illusion sides
✂️ Tightened top of hip
✂️ Tightened back buttons to keep the angle of the low back properly placed.
✂️Hem
✂️Ballroom bustle

The fit showed her curves more and fit her like a glove. 🩷

---- In doing this, all the appliqué had to be picked off over the seams and reapplied

This sparkle beauty came to me with Jaymie from . We just needed to do some basic bridal alterations to this gown to get it fitting perfect.

✂️ Tightened straps
✂️ Tighten and shape hips
✂️ Little bum lift
✂️ Hem w glitter and tulle
✂️ Traditional Bustle

💕This dress was a tiny little puzzle. We had to do another bust reduction on Danielle's cups to fit her properly, but also had to tighten the bodice and the position of the arm. Everything was just a bit too wide for her. Once we made it smaller the issue became the open back. It did not pull the bust tight because the back was so low. So Brainstorming ensued. Then the Lightbulb 💡!! Illusion tulle panel to pull the bodice tight. One side was sewn in and one side snapped. Even that took a little time to get the right fit. We added in a beautiful traditional bustle and Danielle was READY for her day.
She felt secure, beautiful and so confident on her wedding day.

✂️ Sleeves- shortened, adjusted placement to body & added armpit gusset for more movement.
✂️ Bodice- tightened, bust cups reduced with lace
✂️ Added back panel for more security
✂️ Traditional Bustle
