A huge thank you to Amy Irwin, Mrs. Waterville 2026 for kicking off our guest speaker series and taking the time to share her experiences with our students. Amy spoke about entrepreneurship, business ownership, fashion in college and in business at The Finery Formal Wear, photography and her studio in Waterville No Negatives Photography, pageantry with the United States of America Maine Pageants, working in corporate America, community involvement, and the real life struggles, lessons, and experiences that have shaped her along the way.

Our students came prepared with questions, stayed engaged throughout the conversation, and had the opportunity to hear firsthand what it takes to build something, overcome challenges, represent your community, and continue pushing toward your goals.

These conversations are such an important part of what we do in our Business, Marketing & Entrepreneurship program. Thank you, Amy, for spending the afternoon with us and investing in our future entrepreneurs!
