APEX FOOTBALL MEMBERSHIP IS HERE.

This fall, we’re bringing Apex Academy Football Training to D1 Des Moines with a consistent development program built for young football players who want to keep getting better.

This isn’t just speed training. It isn’t just strength training. And it isn’t just position work.

We’re bringing it all together.

Football skill development
Speed, agility & footwork
Strength & athletic development
Position-specific training
Competitive reps & coaching

Players will work on the skills, movement, athleticism and confidence that translate directly to the football field.

Tuesdays & Thursdays: October 27 – December 17

6:00–7:00 PM | Ages 7–10
7:00–8:00 PM | Ages 11–14

Whether your athlete is coming off football season, preparing for 7v7, or simply wants to become a better football player, this is an opportunity to keep developing instead of waiting until next season.

Coach Karter has been a huge part of building Apex Academy and developing football players across Central Iowa. With D1 Des Moines entering its next chapter in the new Waukee facility, there are going to be even more opportunities for our Apex athletes to train, develop and compete year-round.

MEET THE TEAM | KARTER SCHULT

From competing at the highest levels of football to helping develop the next generation of athletes — Karter Schult brings a lifetime of training, competition, and performance experience to D1 Des Moines.

Karter serves as our General Manager & Director of Football Operations, overseeing the continued growth of D1 Des Moines while also working directly with athletes through personal, small-group and football-specific training.

Before coaching, Karter built one of the most decorated careers in UNI football history.

-2x Consensus All-American
-Missouri Valley Football Conference Defensive Player of the Year
-NFF National Scholar-Athlete & Campbell Trophy Finalist

We’re proud of every one of these guys, but the standard doesn’t change.
