When furniture has good bones, don’t just toss it, give it a facelift. Angela Lahr and her husband received a pair of brown Pier 1 barstools for a wedding gift years ago and she knew this new fabric by Vanguard would be the perfect way to update them. If I had a place for these chic new barstools, I’d be trying to keep them!

Hello everybody! Who else feels like the past 10 months have been some of the longest of their life?! I’ve been away for a bit to spend extra time with my son before he graduated and I bought this beauty. Meet my 1965 mid century ranch and I’m so excited to share the transformation with you. One thing I wanted to change right away was the front door. From 80’s arched window with brass to mid century side light windows which I am painting black.
I’ll be here more often to share the many projects I have in the works and hope they give you some inspiration to make some changes in your home too. Shoot me a message if you would like some help with a project.

I bought my townhome over 4 years ago and it is a continual work in progress but I love the work. I have been dreaming of using a deep green in my home somewhere and this little 1/2 bath was the perfect place to try it. The fixtures in the bath are chrome and I didn’t want to change them but I REALLY wanted aged brass with that luscious green. Can you mix metals? Yes you can! Think of it like an accent color and incorporate a few things to tie it all together. A new mirror, shelf brackets and cabinet hardware were the perfect balance. Ready for a new look in your home but don’t know where to start, shoot me a message and let’s get to work.

This was such a fun project! My client Terry had a vision for her family room but she got a little stuck. Paint colors, furniture style, accent pieces - it’s a lot to think about. Terry asked for my design help and together we talked about how she wanted the room to feel, what she loved about her home, and I think this room turned out beautifully!! Thank you for trusting me to help you find new love with your home.

Turkeys and the Christmas tree. I think this is a first in our home but I just couldn’t wait. I’ll hold off on ornaments until November 29th.
