💨 ☀️ Taking advantage of the windy conditions today and setting cotton batting out to dry in a protected alcove just outside my sewing room.

I pre-shrink all my batting and fabric so your items stay looking great, not all wonky, wash after wash. Speaking of wash, I left the laundry in the dryer again…

It’s the end of October but it’s summer outside today. Ironically I’m getting into the winter holiday spirit, but in fabric form only if I’m honest. Currently on the assembly line are dual lined quilted coasters. I ♥️ the chubby cardinals!

🔥Introducing the latest addition to my shop, the Bowl Cozy. I know I’m late to the party, but I was ignorant about the scalding bowl of death that awaited me in the microwave. You see, I’ve been using Pfaltzgraff dishes my whole adult life and those don’t get to the temperature of the sun in the microwave. My new dishes do. I totally get why people love the bowl cozy.
I’ll be offering three sizes in my shop: cereal bowl, pasta bowl and dinner plate. Coming soon in a variety of prints! 😍

😩 Fun fact I learned too late:

Coconut extract loses its flavor over time. Did we all know this?! I obviously had no idea. Nonetheless, we persevered through our coconut-less coconut layer cake, piece by piece.
This poor slice, nobody willing to be “The One” who finishes the cake 😂.
