This month's banned book block is for Charlotte's Web (yes the classic children's story with the pig and the spider). Banned for having talking animals.

This is the last week of the Benartexpert Spring Block Hop, and the finishing instructions were sent out this morning. I opted to modify the directions to create 'ombre' sashing and enlarged the quilt with borders.

I will be putting up a copy of my finishing instructions, on my blog by the end of the week, so if you would like to give that a try you can!

Next up will be quilting and binding (fingers crossed that will be done by next Thursday) and I will have one final update for you.

It's my block this week for the Benartexpert Spring Block Hop! This is Geese Crossing which uses lots of flying geese in different colors to create a fun modern variation on the traditional flying Dutchman block.

The latest block from the Benartexpert Spring Block Hop is Turning Point by I really loved the unique construction of this block and how beautifully it all came together!

The latest Benartexpert Spring Block Hop, block was released this morning and I already have mine done! This block came from and is a great way to add some extra color to any Ohio Star.

I am really enjoying how the monochromatic blue star pops against that tangerine background!

The reverse applique got easier as I went along, and it definitely would have gone smoother if I had heavily starched everything (I never use starch).
