My name is Paula Buckmaster and welcome to U Bar and Company! The U Bar brand belongs to my husband's family. I did some digging and couldn't get an exact date when it began, but I know that "Papa" Harry Buckmaster used it in his cattle operation and we still use it today and also use it on our horses. I'm a mom first and foremost to three awesome kids and wife to a hard working husband. I guess y

ou could say we live a somewhat western lifestyle and live like Gypsies on most weekends. My kids rodeo (and play a little basketball), which means they eat, sleep and drink everything that has to do with horses. So I am a RODEO MOM and proud of it! I've been in public education as a teacher and then as a high school counselor the last seven years. While in the classroom, I taught English, Family and Consumer Science (Home Ec) and 6th grade classes. I initially went to college to major in Fashion Merchandising but met my husband and chose a career that would benefit me working in western Oklahoma. I've always had an eye for western styles that had an edge and was a little funky. I also had a VERY limited budget so after having children I was super sensible in my own style and loved finding a bargain. My goal for this boutique is providing affordable clothes and accessories but not sacrificing a unique flair for my customers. It's okay to play around with what you already have in your closet, adding a new, quality piece here and there along the way. This is what I love about accessories, a simple necklace or clutch and shoes could change the whole look of an outfit. Don't box yourself in! Little by little I believe that I will have what you're looking for! I look forward to building my clientele and hoping that YOU will be on that list!
