We’re proud to be the boot sponsor for North Texas High School Rodeo competitor, Zane Hyatt! A local senior in high school, Zane has been passionate about rodeo since he was little, and now he’s living his dream in the circuit. Zane is a chute dogger, which is similar to steer wrestling. Chute do***ng is all about strength, speed, and precision, as riders start the event in the roping chute holding the steer. When the chute opens, the participant must bring the steer to a line ten feet from the chute and wrestle the steer to the ground.

We’re so proud to support Zane as he represents us in the rodeo arena. Let’s cheer him on as he chases down his goals and makes his mark in the rodeo world! 👏

Owner Gary Bush, a consummate buyer with an eye for western antiques, was drawn to the visual, the old and the antique from an early age. “It invokes a simpler time in our history,” Bush says. “And in some ways, a better, more wholesome life.”

In addition, Gary’s son Taylor is in the process of adding a vintage record section and also renovating the shop’s mezzanine into a stage, with plans to host open mics. “I want it to be approachable, available for people of all skill levels, somewhere where they can have fun and create memories,” he adds.

We’ve got a rotating inventory of about 1,500 walked-in boots, and every pair has a story. Each incoming pair undergoes a multi-step makeover, with most of them heading across the square to Two Heels and a Loafer for new soles. Back at the shop, the boots greedily soak up leather conditioner and receive a good shine before being displayed on the shelves, ready for the next chapter of their story. We love bringing new life to these well-made and well-loved items!
