One of our biggest recent projects was creating the shirts for the Beal City Elementary Color Run yesterday!

Over 350+ student, staff, and volunteer shirts later, what an awesome event! With the track currently being redone, the PTA switched gears from the traditional water walkathon to a color run this year, and they did SUCH a fantastic job putting it all together.

We’ve also recently updated some of our production processes for bulk orders and have found a way to create a much more budget-friendly option for larger quantity apparel orders!

I think we may need to start a little “Did You Know?” series around here 👀

There are SO many things we can do at Teamside Threads that a lot of people simply don’t realize!

Recently, Amanda designed custom yard signs for the BC Softball Team, BC Senior baseball players, and the graduating Class of 2026, along with designing and printing the banners hanging at the school!

And honestly, the graduation projects were extra special to us this year, because our own daughter, Johanna, graduates with the Beal City Class of 2026 on Thursday 🥹💙

A lot of people know us for apparel, but we love getting to help bring all kinds of custom projects to life for our schools and community!

We loved working on this project for our local Athletic Director. He found a gem in this classic bomber jacket, but it originally had another school embroidered on it. Instead of letting a great jacket go to waste, we were able to create a completely custom patch and hand sew it directly over the original embroidery to give it a whole new life for Beal City!

Projects like this are some of our favorites because they take a little extra creativity and problem solving to make something old feel completely custom again. We love getting to bring ideas like this to life!

Thank you to the wonderful staff over at Smile Grand Haven for your crewneck order! Together, we helped supply their entire staff with department-specific crewnecks, with regular left chest designs for the gentlemen and this fun neckline stitch for the ladies!

Big projects with local impact are our favorite kind!

We recently had the opportunity to partner with WW Construction Inc. as they celebrated 25 years in business! 🎉

Together, we helped refresh their branding and created new American-made t-shirts and gear for clients and guests at their anniversary celebration.

There’s something special about helping a hardworking local company honor its legacy while stepping confidently into their next chapter.

We had the best time in Florida with our daughter for her senior spring break, but now we're jumping right back into things over here at Teamside Threads! ☀️➡️👕

Quick update for anyone who ordered in the second round of mocknecks: we are still waiting on those to arrive from the manufacturer. Just a reminder that these do take several weeks to come in before we can even begin production on our end. As soon as they land, we’ll be moving on them right away!

Also, just a heads up… we’ve got a couple of pretty massive projects in the works right now 👀 which means our schedule is filling up FAST. If you’re hoping to get something going with us in the near future, now is definitely the time to reach out so we can get you on the schedule!

As always, we appreciate you guys so much and your support for our tiny small business, and we can’t wait to get these orders rolling!

Last week knocked us on our heels a little bit.

When you’re a tiny, husband-and-wife run shop juggling two businesses and a full-time job, one case of the flu can throw everything off track fast! Amanda, who is our queen of embroidering, was down for the count for several days and while we don’t love falling behind, sometimes life just happens.

The good news? We are SO close to being fully caught up. 🙌
We are finishing up the final round of stitching now on the 1st orders of Mocknecks, and you should be getting a message very soon if you haven’t already!

Now for the exciting part…

Our manufacturer is extending the mockneck preorder ONE last time. These have been wildly popular, and this truly will be the final opportunity to grab one before they’re gone. If you missed the first round, this is your last chance! (Link to order in comments) Please keep in mind, these take SEVERAL weeks for us to receive and stitch out!

MOCKNECK PRE-ORDER UPDATE 👀

First, thank you to everyone who jumped in on the first round. We’re working our way quickly through those orders now, and completion notices are going out as we make our way down the list.

Because of the popular demand, we’re reopening preorders for a second round!

Please note! These mock necks are custom requested directly from the manufacturer. They are not stocked on our shelves, which means it will take several weeks before we even receive them, and production begins after that.

If you’re ordering, please do so with the understanding that this is a true preorder and your item may not be ready for quite some time. We always want to be transparent about the timeline.

🗓️ This round of preorders will close on Sunday, February 22nd.
