With the show jumping portion of Aachen 2026 starting tomorrow, we asked jump builder Mihai Simon (Olympics, WEG, Pan American Games) his most iconic build. His answer: “The Painter”, a fence from the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, where he turned French art into an obstacle: the artist’s hand mid-brushstroke, silhouette painting alongside.
