In March of 2021 we got birth diagnoses of Trisomy 21 for our identical twin girls. It was unexpected, to say the least, and we struggled with that at first.
As the girls have grown, it has become easier for me to see how beautiful this journey really is. I always think of tulips blooming in the spring as being a symbol of life and love and beauty after hardship (winter).
Libby and Lena bring so much life and love to the world around them. They have made it through many hardships and their strength and bravery through all of it is so beautiful. I am proud of them. I hope their story will encourage others to learn to see the beauty and joy in embracing their own unexpected journeys as well as embracing those with Down syndrome.

For Preetima...our “beloved one”.

Saying “yes” to a child with Down Syndrome has been the biggest blessing and gift. Preetima was born in India and officially joined her forever family in the summer of 2024.

We chose this design because of the two flower blooms. Our daughter, Preetima Bloom, often shows us how much she is capable of and how much beauty she brings to the world, especially to our family.

The ‘blue heart’ is the perfect representation of our EXTRAordinary Easton! While the blue stone and dainty gold chain symbolize the colors of Down syndrome, the color blue also represents Autism in which Easton was diagnosed with at the age of 4. The heart shape not only exemplifies our deep love for Easton and his unconditional love for us, but it also reminds us that he is a strong and brave heart warrior who underwent open heart surgery this past year to repair his AVSD at the age of 5. To say this necklace has significant meaning to me and my family would be an understatement. We pray that this necklace brings you more love than you could ever imagine just as our Easton has brought to our lives and serves as a reminder that you too are strong, brave, fearfully and wonderfully made!

Our first release in two years! Bennett stole our hearts. This adorable little guy lives in our part of Iowa and he has a big story. We are honored to introduce you to the Bennett necklace 💛💙🧡

Bennett has changed our life in the most beautiful ways since the minute we found out we were going to be his parents! Pregnancy was full of unknowns after receiving his Down syndrome and CHD diagnosis at 20 weeks. But the very second he came into this world, his sweet face calmed every ounce of chaos and brought nothing but joy into our hearts.

Bennett is a born fighter. He has faced hundreds of specialist appointments, therapies, an open heart surgery for his CHD and many other obstacles with a smile on his face. And in December of 2024, at four years old, we received a devastating diagnosis of Leukemia.

But nothing can stop Bennett. He continues to smile and find joy every step of the way. He radiates love and positivity and reminds us that he is incredibly strong. We chose an orange stone to represent his fight with Leukemia. And the cross reminds us to have faith and trust in God’s plan because He created Bennett with so much love and would not send us down a path we could not navigate together. We are beyond thankful for Bennett every single day because he has changed our world in ways we never could’ve imagined! 💛💙🧡

Quick reintroduction since it has been awhile!
I’m Sam and 10 years ago we had our fourth son who came with a little something extra. Bodie Luke was born with Down Syndrome and this little guy has changed our family for the better. He is the best gift we never knew we needed.
About 9 years ago I launched Wells with the intent to sell handmade jewelry. Our business quickly shifted when I couldn’t decide what to name our pieces so I named one of our first designs “Bodie”. Soon enough we started working with families like ours, choosing designs with parent input and naming necklaces after their children. These designs became wildly popular and we watched them sell out over and over. We have shipped out thousands of necklaces all over the place! Watching people love their pieces and love these kids well has been one of the greatest joys.
We took two years off of custom collections and in 2025 we are releasing a collection again…it feels great to be back to doing what we love 💛💙

We know Jesus through the scriptures.
We can examine the word of God through countless angles, turning it over and over again. The Bible is always full of fresh new revelation. It important to ask questions, look at context (both scriptural and historical), pray about the word, and stay in community.
In the world, we eat when we are hungry. In the Kingdom of God, the more I consume the word, the hungrier I am.

My friend Lyndsie Schnoor’s book released this morning!
Lyndsie is one of my dearest friends and we have been growing in our faith in tandem for the past 7ish years. She is full of wisdom, revelation, and fire!
PS: I met Lyndsie when I photographed her wedding quite a few years ago, so i had to break out the old camera once again when I knew she needed pics. Love seeing the images on her book!! ♥️
