In between working on products to sell and gifts for folks, I made myself a massive blanket from some super soft fabrics I got at a yard sale. That's my 6ft tall husband holding it up.
For the sewists: I didn't want a quilt, so I used French seams to put it together and hide the raw edges. I didn't have as much of the yellow/orange, so I subbed in a minky.
It is absolutely not perfect, but it's just for me and I had a lot of fun making it, even to the end.
