Earlier this year, Shawmut Corporation joined the U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Buildings, Better Plants program, committing to a 25% reduction in energy intensity across our U.S. manufacturing footprint by 2033.

From improving textile dyeing and finishing operations to expanding energy efficiency initiatives across our facilities, this effort reflects Shawmut’s broader approach to responsible manufacturing and lower-carbon material solutions.

Combined with tools like Shawmut Insights™, our proprietary Life Cycle Assessment platform, these initiatives help us continue delivering sustainable solutions for customers across automotive, medical, filtration, military/tactical, and industrial markets.
